Hotel Walserwirt family owned in 11th generation was found in 1607. First managed as tavern with a degree of the archbishop to sell wine to the people is now established as a well known steak restaurant with dry aged beef from their own butchery (est. in 1688) and farm. 25 rooms designed as a typicall austrian countrystyle placed in the heart of Wals.

Family-run since 1607, Hotel Walserwirt enjoys a quiet location in the centre of Wals, 3 km from Salzburg Airport and a 15-minute drive from the centre of Salzburg. Steak and beef specialities can be enjoyed in the restaurant Paul’s Steak Stubn. Schloss Kleßheim is reachable within 5 km.

The free spa area offers a sauna, steam bath, Finnish sauna, bio sauna and a heated indoor swimming pool. 5 seminar rooms are available.
